I was thinking about this a while back. Finally got around to typing it.
This is a crossover sort of theme. VIDEO GAMES GO TO SCHOOL LOL!
Ok so here's a "back cover" synopsis.
Sarah Trask is an ordinary twelve year old girl in America who is summoned to go to a school that she saw in her dreams! After getting there through a portal, she finds out she must stay in the dorms but that's not all. the school is huge and she finds out the school's students and teachers are all from video games. But Sarah isn't aware of this at first becuase she is a bookworm but she will make new friends there, including Princess Peach, Princess Zelda, and Samus. Not to mention that she will find the Three Swordsmen, the school's most well known and admired boys. They are Link, Roy, and Marth. Will Sarah be able to fit in and find out of the Three Swordsmen really do liek her?
Ok, that sucks. I guess I'll post the story and an Image of Sarah that I drew. Please note that this is 8 pages long and that this is only a part of her first day. Also, writing is not really my srong point.
A pic of Sarah:

Cross Stars School: 7th Grade
Day Number 1: Part 1
Notes: While this is 7th grade, Sarah is 12. Other girls can be 12-13 and Boys can be 13-14 in this story. SORRY!
“Hey, Sarah, wait up!” a girl shouts. A blonde haired girl in a t-shirt and jeans looked behind her. A girl with brown, long hair was chasing her. The girl, who appeared to be called Sarah, smiled innocently at her friend.
“Oh, Sarah. You didn’t tell me you were leaving,” the brown haired girl said. Sarah only laughed nervously.
“Well you see, Karen, I’m not technically moving. Just going to a new school. But they said they have dorms there so I’ll be staying there,” Sarah replied with her voice getting softer. The school bell rang to dismiss the students to go home. Karen began to well up tears.
“Oh Karen. I don’t mean to move. I mean they- oh I forgot. It’s sort of a secret and long story. But I think I can visit during our vacations,” Sarah said patting Karen on the back. Karen wiped her tears and faced Sarah. She placed her tan hands on Sarah’s shoulders. She stared right into Sarah’s green eyes.
“I’m not so sad anymore. I can’t cry. Sarah, you go to that school. Just promise me you’ll get the same A’s and B’s that you get here, m’kay?” Karen said. Sarah smiled and hugged her friend.
“I promise.” she replied. They walked out the front gate and talked together until the fork on the street in which they had to part on. They bid their last words before the weekend and walked their own ways. Sarah ran into her house and found her mom was gone but she has signed the papers she needed for the new school. After plopping the heavy backpack on the kitchen counter, Sarah picked up the papers and got a piece of gum to pop into her mouth. Sarah leaned on the counter and read the papers. The top of the page seemed to have the name of the school.
“ ‘Cross Stars Academy’ hm, seems nice to be called academy,” Sarah commented. She relapsed the event in her mind. She was dreaming about this huge school and it was called Cross Stars Academy. She never got into the school though because of the alarm clock for school. When she ran downstairs for breakfast, her mom was holding a sheet of papers. On the title, it had the school name. Sarah told her mom about the dream as her mother read the papers. In one sentence, it said “your daughter has received a dream about the school, so that should be proof”. The two looked at each other astounded and her mom decided to let her go to the school.
Sarah read on to find no address but something else. She read the phrase outloud.
“ ‘To get to our school, you must wear the school uniform which will arrive on Friday afternoon. Then at Midnight, wait in your room for a portal to open. You must have your belongings and collections with you when you step in and you parents will not be allowed to come, unfortunately. The portal only accepts students and teachers. So step in and out welcoming committee will be there. We here by now accept you as a student here in Cross Stars Academy.’ Hm..seems strange but they were right about the dream. Well, the uniform will be here soon, I guess I better make sure I packed everything.”
Sarah ran to the door, for she had heard a truck and a doorbell. She opened to the door to see the truck storm off and leave. She looked down to see a package, so she took it to her room. Upstairs, in her room, Sarah tor it apart to see another letter. Without looking what was in the package, she read the letter out loud.
“ ‘Dear, Sarah. This is your uniform for here at Cross Stars. This will enable the portal to open at midnight. You must wear this all the time here except for snow days, P.E., and slumber. There is a uniform for warm and cold weather in the package but where you cold weather one now. Also, you’ll need to be informed that time is different here. Good luck here and make sure to see the principal to get your schedule.’”
Sarah looked into the package to find a red and somewhat peach colored uniform. And as the letter had said, there were two shirts and two skirts. Sarah sighed as she rechecked her suitcase and decide to try on the uniform. They had also given her a pair of socks, shoes, and sleep wear. This school has a tight dress code, Sarah thought to herself as she put on the shoes. Sarah looked into he mirror on her door. Well it does make me look sort of cute, she thought. She looked at the clock: 3:30 PM. I still have 9 hours before I go, she thought. Sarah ran downstairs to watch a bit of TV. Normally, since she was in 7th grade, she would have started her homework, but since she is transferring the school did not assign her any. Sarah got bored of it until 5 so she ran upstairs and started to read a book. Sarah was such a bookworm, as Karen had said once. But it was true, Sarah loves books. Sarah had gotten so into her book that it was 8 when she had looked at the clock. Only 4 more hours, she thought. Sarah heard her mom talking to her dad.
Sarah had napped until 12-which she set her alarm to. Her parents had fallen asleep, having said their good byes at 8. Sarah brushed her hair and out her shoes back on. Time for the portal to open. Sarah had put her hand bag strap on her shoulder and grasped the rolling suitcase just before a gray portal had torn through her room. Sarah grasped her gasp and looked through it. A large school that looked like a mansion with another building for dorms was reflected on the grayscale portal. Sarah took a deep breath before stepping through. The air around had changed and she could not feel or hear. Sarah could only see the school ahead of her. Then a bright light had engulfed her and she shut her eyes. Sarah then felt herself back into reality and floating. She looked down to see she was only an inch off the ground so her handbag and suitcase landed next to her. Sarah looked around to see she was on a stone bridge and her bags next to her. She could hear a river below her and just over that bridge and a little walkaway was the school.
How majestic is was before her. It looked more like a mansion than a school. And just next to the building was another one. It might have not been as grand from the outside but Sarah could only imagine the luxury inside. Sarah gasped as she ran to the front gate of the school. Sarah also noticed how it looked like it was about morning here. Sarah was so glad to know this was her new school!
“Hello Miss Trask. We have been waiting for you. We shall take your bags while you go see the principal. Have a splendid time here at Cross Stars Academy.” a door man wearing red said. He was held both bags in his hands as Sarah looked at the door. It was huge and about six Sarahs tall. Sarah only blinked. He opened the door by knocking three times and it creaked open. Inside was a staircase and chandelier above Sarah’s head. She followed the doorman to another room up ahead. It had a sign saying “Principal”. The door man had left right when she walked in. She heard a voice after that.
“Ah, Miss Trask! Do come in here by entering your left corridor. You will find my office.” Sarah obeyed and found a glass door. She entered a foot and looked around. A man with a smile on his face was seated at his desk. He was green eyes, short brown hair, and a work suit. He looked about in his 40's and his build was slightly bulk but not too much. Sarah sat in a chair and introduced herself.
“It’s ok, I know who you are, Sarah Trask. I am Mr. Foremen, the principal. This is no ordinary school, as you will see soon. And your schedule is right here. Why don’t you read it to make sure I didn’t do anything wrong?” he said handing a sheet of paper to her. Sarah ignored the teachers and read the class names.
“History, Math, Science, P.E., Cooking, and English.” Sarah read. Mr. Foremen nodded and said,
“Very good. Now the class room numbers are there but if you get lost, here is a map of the school and you can also ask the students around you. Your cooking class will be changed in a few weeks to music, then to art. Alright? Also, during your P.E. class I will send a note to you containing your dorm room, wing, and roommates. No dorms are coed and the only exception is blood relation, for your information.”
“I got it, thank you so much for letting me learn here.” Sarah said standing up. Mr. Foremen stood up to shake hands with Sarah as she walked out the door.
“Oh and it’s break before class so go to the mess hall on your right!” he said after she walked out. Sarah nodded and waved goodbye. She clasped her schedule and int the mess hall. Just before she went into the room, she could hear a lot of voices, even with the large door in front of her. Sarah noticed there wasn’t a door knob and frowned.
“Do you need help getting in?” a voice rang. Sarah looked behind her to see a girl in a uniform like hers. She had blonde hair to her waist, bubbly blue eyes, a small crown on her head, blue pearl earnings, and a smile. She walked up to Sarah and introduced herself.
“I’m Princess Peach. And you are?” she asked.
“Sarah Trask. Nice to meet you? And I actually do need help. It’s my first day here,” Sarah said shaking Peach’s hand. Peach smiled and knocked on the door gently three times. It opened and Sarah gasped. She expected tables like ones in the cafeteria but there were no tables. It was more like a lounge. There were couches and small chairs to sit down in. It was draped with red curtains like the one on Sarah’s uniform. She saw the girls wearing the same uniform and boys wearing a uniform of their own with the same colors. Everyone was chatting to them selves.
“It’s easy. Say, do you wanna sit with me? No one really talks to me...” Peach said. Sarah gave a huge grin to her and replied to her without hesitation.
“Of course! I would love a friend on the first day!” Sarah said happily. She grabbed Peach’s hand to a couch and sat down next to her. They talked for a few minutes after that.
“So which video game are you from?”Peach asked. Sarah thought this was a joke and laughed. Was Peach really serious?
“I’m not from any video game. I don’t play them actually. I like to read,” she said going along with it. Peach smiled after that for she had known this would happen.
“I wasn’t kidding. Every student and teacher is from a video game. Everyone except the principal, vice-principal, and doormen. Oh and I guess you. But I guess that’s not so important. What classes do you have?” she asked. Sarah was processing all of this information through her head. She only choose to believe it since things were already supernatural even before she got into the school. Peach could see that.
“Well I have History first. Then I have Math, Science, P.E., Cooking, and English.” Sarah replied. Peach squealed.
“Wow, you have the same schedule as the Three Swordsmen! It’s destiny! I also have the same schedule! This is so cool! Do you have Professor Saige as your history teacher?” Peach asked.
“Uh..it says here I do. And who are the Three Swordsmen?” Sarah asked. Peach explained everything.
“The Three Swordsmen are the school’s most admired and well known boys. They sit over there talking to each other,” Peach said pointing. “They are Link, Marth, and Roy. They all have a fine knowledge of wielding a sword so hence their name. Some girls say that they are searching for someone who they all will love. But she needs to be unique,” Peach stated. “They don’t appeal to every girl though. I don’t really mind if they pick someone else or something,” Peach said. Sarah could see in her eyes that she wasn’t lying. She could hear a bell toll and everyone around her got up. Peach put a school hand bag shoulder strap around her shoulder.
“Let’s go. You can get your handbag from Professor Saige though. C’mon! She is in room B4.” Peach said grabbing Sarah’s hand and running to Room B4. She stopped in front of a door with a sign in front saying B4. Sarah and Peach walked in while Peach greeted everyone. Sarah saw a women behind a desk. She looked young but she had white hair. She had an orange garb and her face was full of wisdom. She looked about in her 20's or 30's.
“Hello Peach and who is this? It this Sarah Trask?” she asked.
“Yes she is the one and only! I will take my seat now.” Peach said skipping to her seat. Sarah then faced the woman again. She had a brown school bag like Peach in her hand and a clipboard in another.
“Hello Sarah. I am Raine Saige but call me Professor Saige for formal reasons. You may have a seat between Lloyd and Peach over there. And here is your school bag in which you will need,” she said handing it to her. Sarah accepted it and walked to her seat. Peach was waving slightly to catch her attention then patting on the desk gently to motion that was Sarah’s seat. Sarah sat down and said something to Peach before looking next to her. There was a boy with his brown hair that was up in about four or five curly and thick pikes with some bangs handing out. He had mahogany eyes and a warm smile. He faced Sarah right when she turned around.
“I’m Lloyd. Lloyd Irving. Nice to meet you Sarah,” he said holding out a hand for her to shake in which she took gladly. Peach then tapped on Sarah’s back and pointed her thumb behind her when she turned around. Sarah looked back to see three boys talking to each other. One had dirty blonde hair in a messy look, another had sleekly aqua blue, and the other with red. Peach had whispered into her ear that they were the Three Swordsmen. Sarah gasped lightly as Peach whispered their names. We turned around as the bell rang and Professor Saige told everyone to pay attention.
“Alright, you have a report due today so take that out. Sarah, you can just listen for a while. I’ll have Genis go up first,” she said looking at her clipboard. A boy on Lloyd’s right(since Sarah was on his left) stood up and read his report out loud. He had the same white hair as Professor Saige and he seemed to be a child genius. Sarah turned to Lloyd who seemed to be daydreaming unlike everyone else who was paying attention to Genis. Lloyd then slowly placed his head on his desk and began to lightly snore. But Professor Sage could hear it. She immediately took a piece of chalk and WHAM hit Lloyd straight on the forehead! He woke up and fell back in his chair. Everyone just stared at him. Someone had said, “not again”. Sarah held out a hand to help him back up.
“Thanks Sarah,”
“No problem,” she replied. Professor Saige had ordered Genis to continue and he finished up his paragraph. After he was done, he sat down end everyone clapped.
“Thank you Genis. Next up is Marth. Speak a little louder this time, okay?” she asked. Marth pull back his hair and stood up. Link and Roy seemed to lightly laugh. Marth cleared his throat before reciting his report.
Sarah listened to his report. It wasn’t an informal like Genis’ but certainly was entertaining to hear. His voice was smooth and when he had finished, there was also clapping. Sarah had clapped a lot too. He sat back down to finish something with Link and Roy.
“Thank you Marth. Peach, your next,” Professor Saige said. Peach stood up with her teeth biting her lip. As she recited her report, her voice was certainty fast and weak. Her sentences were choppy and she rushed a bit. She immediately sat down after the words “The end”. People clapped again but not as loud as Genis and Marth. History ended after a few more reports and they needed to continue after tomorrow.
“So Peach, let’s go to Science. Where is that?” Sarah asked. Peach giggled.
“What?”,
“Science. It’s the best or worst subject for girls. It’s in A2. I’ll explain later or I”ll just let you see for your self. And On another note. All of the academic subjects are all taught by Tales of Symphonia characters. Including Regal with P.E.! You’ll see,” Peach said. Sarah toke note of this. They were able to get into the classroom to find the three Swordsmen in the back. The teacher seemed younger than Raine and this one was male. He had a red and white garb which went well with his long, red hair. He certainly could be called handsome. Peach sat in her front seat.
“Hello Princess Peach and who is your little friend?” he asked. Peach giggled and introduced Sarah to the teacher. Sarah curtsied for him, it was only proper.
“No need Sarah. I’m Zelos Wilder but people call me Professor Wilder. Or just Zelos for the ladies,” he said with a smile. Sarah smiled but kept a frown in her head. Peach giggled again.
“I’m afraid all of my good seats are taken but you can sit between Link and Marth. That is also in front of Roy,” he said pointing to the seat. Sarah nodded and took her seat. Peach looked back at her and giggled. It took Sarah a while to process the fact she was sitting next to the Three Swordsmen. Of course, they would want to study this new girl. The one who was called link was the first to speak.
“I’m Link. This is Marth and Roy. We are known as the Three Swordsmen in this school but I can see you know that.” Sarah lightly blushed.
“H-h-how do you know that?”,
“You were blushing when you were walking over here and your friends with Peach,” Roy said. Sarah dug her face in her school bag claiming she was looking for her schedule. Marth laughed. Sarah looked at Zelos to say he wasn’t looking but greeting the other girls who came in. Sarah frowned. She looked at the clock to see that she had three more minutes before class.
“So what video game are you from?” Roy asked. Sarah answered that with no hesitation.
“I don’t come from any video game. I’m from America. I don’t know hwy they let me in here though,” Sarah said. Link’s elbows were actually on Sarah’s desk.
“Really? Strange. That’s pretty unique. Don’t you guys think?” Roy asked. Marth and Link nodded as they looked at Sarah. They kept asking her questions about herself until the bell wrung.
“Ok ladies and gentleman. Today we are reading Chapter 4 in our books so open your books to that page. If you finish reading it then you can start on the workbook assignment. That is not homework but it will be tomorrow if you don’t finish it the next day. Ok, go!” Zelos instructed. After a long period of Science, it ended. The bell rang and Sarah was able to finish the assignment before class ended. She caught up with Peach and they started to talk. That is until Roy, Marth, and Link showed up. Roy put his hand on Sarah’s shoulder which made her turn around. Peach giggled and waited.
“Can we talk to you for a moment, Sarah?” Marth asked. Sarah nodded slightly blushing and followed them.
“Listen, it would be appreciated if you could tutor us. I saw how smart you were in science. And in history, I saw you taking notes. So if you could come to our dorm after school, that would be great,” Link said. Sarah forgot that she was taking notes in history because of the Lloyd and chalk incident.
“Uh..sure. But are girls allowed in the boys dorms? I mean, Mr. Foremen told me that dorms were not coed and we certainty aren’t blood related!” Sarah said as they led her the way to P.E.
“That’s for sleeping. Boys aren’t allowed in the girls’ dorms unless if they are giving notes or something. Girls can come into the boys’ dorms because girls are trusted. Will you still come?” Roy said. Sarah nodded as the boys thanked her.
“Oh, isn’t that right that we have every class together? Even better. Why don’t sit with us during lunch today? It’s after cooking.” Marth asked. Peach, who was behind them but now caught up, nodded yes. Sarah also said yes.
“And we wouldn’t mind having Peach with us and bring any friends you might have. But not too much, okay?”Roy said. Sarah nodded as they led them out in the back of the school where the field is. There were two small buildings, which seemed like locker rooms for both genders, out there. Roy, Marth, and Link walked into one while Peach and Sarah walked into another.
“Hey Peach, I don’t have P.E. clothes. What should I do?” Sarah asked. Peach only looked a Sarah.
“Didn’t you bring your Fighting Clothes? Oh that’s right, you’re not from a video game. But they wouldn’t have let into the school if you could not fight,” Peach said.
“F-f-fight? I have to fight?” Sarah asked as Peach pulled out a pink dress from her locker.
“That’s P.E. for you. You can talk to Regal if you want. He’s the teacher and he can let you off. But P.E. is always fun. We fight but no one really gets hurt. Instead, it’s really fun too watch and it’s the only time when we can wear our original clothes!” Peach explained while she put her uniform in the locker and started to put on her dress.
“Your really gonna fight with that?” Sarah asked. Peach nodded as she walked out of the room with Sarah behind her. Sarah gasped at the sight of the teacher. He was tall and really bulk. He smiled but Sarah thought she could get pretty scared.
“Ah, you are Sarah? I am Regal Bryant but I prefer just Regal. I can see you do not have Fighting Clothes. If you want, you may see the tailor tomorrow. It is Saturday tomorrow. I will give you a note to go see him. I think Peach can escort you there. For now, just watch.” he said handing her a note from his clipboard. Sarah took it and sat in a chair next to Peach. Even if this was outside, there were chairs and a raised stage so that everyone could see. Regal took role call and when everyone was checked off, he ordered Link, Roy, And Marth to the stage. They were pretty handsome in their Fighting Clothes as all of them had their swords. Everyone clapped for them as Regal took over.
“Bow to show respect and on my signal, begin fighting. Ready, GO!” Regal shouted with a white blow following. Roy made the first cut but Link and Marth dodged it and Marth went in for a punch. The battle raged on and turns out, there is never a winner in these types of battles.
Sarah sighed thinking about her new school. This was going to be blast!
