A Dark Ambition
The Story of Zant and Midna
Now, some people have played the game caled Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, and as most of us know their are two Twili: Midna and Zant which both hate each other for certain reasons. Or do they really hate each other so much? The Story that Midna and I have created is about the lives of these two before the tragic affair began, and we wish to share it with others out there.
Chapter 1
The story first took place a long time in a small forest not to far away from the great Palace of Twilight as you can hear the giggles of two young Twili playing one of their favorite games. And by an old tree a young girl had her eyes shut as she was counting down numbers out loud. "Eight!...Nine!...Ten! Here I come!" Yelled out the girl in a cheerful manner as she skipped over the rocks and rotting logs as she looked for the other Twili in the forest. The other child was a young boy as he was hiding from the girl behind a tree though he couldn't help but giggle once in a while which had led the girl up to him.
"Gotcha Zant!" She said as she went to touch him though all she got was a hand of bark. "Nope!, you have to catch me first Midna!" He said as the Twili ran off to another part of the forest. Though Midna was determined to cath him and so gave chase to Zant. The just ran around in circles as Zant tried to get away from Midna though the young Twili girl managed to catch him by grabbing onto his robes. "Now I gotcha! Eh he he he! She laughed as Zant went to look behind him though still running which had nevergave him he chance to see the cliff that he was running to until it was to late.
The two just tumbled down one on atop of another until they had reached the bottem and laid beside each other, but they didn't cry but instead laughed together much more than they did before. "That was SO much fun!" Said Zant as he sat up and began picking off the dead grass and wood out of his hair and robe, Midna just stood up as she fixed up her long orange hair and brushed off her skirt. When she went to turn around she saw it, the grand palace that held the ruler of their people for generations now.
"Hey Zanty, look!" She said as she pointed towards the massive black and red building with it's other two smaller building by it. Zant just looked over his shoulder and saw the three buildings. Now the two have always seen that building many times but it always had some sort of way of inspiring them both, especially Zant. The boy just stood up as he kept on looking at the palace until his gaze turned to Midna and smiled at her. "Maybe I'll be King one day!" He told her as she looked to her side and made a small bow. "Oh King Zant! What must I do for you today? eh he he he!" She then began to giggle outloud again as well did Zant. That was until they heard someone calling both of their names out. "Coming!" they both yelled out before running up the hill again though Zant stopped at the top and looked back at the castle again with a smile on his face. Maybe someday. He said before running off behind Midna.
